No one ever said life was easy
But no one told me it would be this hard either 
How could anyone foretell the storms I would weather 
Sometimes it makes me queasy 
I wish I could just take a breather 
If only the weight of the world felt like a feather 
Sometimes this journey is unbearable 
But I wouldn’t trade it for anything 
Some things are repairable 
Life doesn’t have to be a scary thing 
Even when everything feels terrible
There’s beauty found amongst everything
